I was born in California in 1969. My hobbies include: collecting shot glasses, criminology, working with kids and misc. stuff that strikes my fancy to do. I have been Disaster Chair for American Red Cross, Disaster Specialist for American Red Cross, and Instructor for Disaster Services for American Red Cross. I am one of the founders PAWS, and of the CATS Fans Unite in Peace movement. I teach Sunday School, and have been a member of College and Church Choirs. Respecting myself and showing others that same respect is very important to me.
My favorite colors are peach, apriocot, pink, and country blue (never could choose which I liked better), and Mexican is at the top of my list for favorite foods. I also enjoy trying new foods all the time.
Some charities that I suport...just to name a few... are diabetes, cancer, HIV (Aids), various anti-drug and anti-drinking and driving programs, literacy, family connections, etc. Charities don't have to be health-related to be a great cause!
I collect Beanie Babies. I am currently trying to get the original size international bears, which is a challenge in itself. I also collect the Beanie Buddies and am currently looking for Princess.
My biggest dream, goal or whatever you want to call it is to graduate with my degree in Human Development (this December...yea!!!!!) and then go out into the world and make a difference. Something I always keep in mind is that no matter who the person is, there is always something nice you can say about them or do for them that comes from your heart!
